Neerja Bhanot is remembered as the saviour of
359 lives of Pan Am Flight 73 hijacked in Karachi, Pakistan on Sept 5, 1986 and
the youngest recipient of Ashok Chakra for her heroic service. Recently, Director
Ram Madhvani featured Sonam Kapoor starrer Bollywood biopic film ‘Neerja’ based
on the life of martyr and paid respect to her unforgettable deeds.
