actors who started their career as child artists. Some of them were hit, some were
flop and others got a mixed taste of hit and flop. Alia Bhatt, Aftab
Shivdasani, Kunal Khemu, Sana Saeed, Ayesha Takia, Aditya Narayan and many more
actors and actresses are there who started as child artists and paved their way
as a full-fledged Bollywood stars. On the eve of Children’s day, let’s know
more about these Bollywood stars who started as child artists:
Alia Bhatt
Alia started her career as a child artist in the role of
younger Preity Zinta in the film Sangharsh (1999). Further, she worked as an
actress in the films like, Student of The Year (2012), Highway (2014), 2 States
(2014), Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania (2014) and Shaandaar (2015).
Hansika Motwani
Hansika is a well-known actress of South
Indian films who started her career as a child artist in the TV show Shaka Laka
Boom Boom (2000) and did films like, Hawa (2003), Koi…Mil Gaya (2003) and Jaago
(2004). Further, as an actress she did Aap kaa Surroor (2007) and Money Hai toh
Honey Hai (2008).
Ayesha Kapur
Ayesha won millions of hearts in the film Black
(2005), as a child artist. She also did Sikandar in the year 2009. Moreover,
she is working in an upcoming sci-fi film Paani as a lead actress.
Imran Khan
Imran Khan started his career as a child
artist from the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988) and then Jo Jeeta Wohi
Sikandar (1992). Imran is now a successful actor in Bollywood with films like,
Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na (2008), Kidnap (2008), Luck (2009), Delhi Belly (2011),
Gori Tere Pyar Mein (2013) and Katti Batti (2015).
Sana Saeed
Sana, who was in the role of a bubbly little
girl child in the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), has now become a full fledged
actress. Sana appeared in Bollywood film Student of The Year (2012) and in a
special appearance in Fugly.
Ayesha Takia
Ayesha was first seen as a child artist in
Complan ad and then as an actress she did Bollywood films like, Taarjan: The
Wonder Car (2004), Dil Maange More (2004), Socha Na Tha (2004), Dor (2006), Salaam-e-Ishq
(2007), Sunday (2008), Wanted (2009) and Paathshaala (2010).
Kunal Khemu
As a child artist, Kunal worked in Hum Hain
Rahi Pyar Ke (1993), Raja Hindustani (1996), Judwaa (1997), Zakhm (1998), and
Dushman (1998) and further, as an actor he appeared in Kalyug (2005), Traffic
Signal (2007), Dhol (2007), Golmaal 3 (2010), Go Goa Gone (2013) and latest

Aftab Shivdasani
Aftab, as a child artist did Mr. India (1987),
Shahenshah (1988) and Chaalbaaz (1989). He worked as an actor in Bollywood
films like, Mast (1999), Kasoor (2001), Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai (2002), Hungama (2003),
Footpath (2003), Shaadi Se Pehle (2006) and Grand Masti (2013).
Parzan Dastur
Parzan did Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Mohabbatein
(2000) and Zubeidaa (2001) as a child artist and as an actor he worked in
Parzania (2007), Sikandar (2009) and Break Ke Baad (2010).
Aditya Narayan
Son of Bollywood singer Udit Narayan, Aditya
acted as child artist in Pardes (1997) and Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai (1998) and
then he did Shaapit (2010) as an actor. But after failing as an actor, Aditya
is making his career in singing.
