Now is the time when Offbeat films with real-file stories in the country like India are growing and Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘Titli’ is one such film. The film was 1st screened at the yesteryear’s Cannes International Film Festival and received rant reviews.

'Titli' the star cast
The film ‘Titli’ has won a number of accolades and awards in the various International Film Festivals in France, Germany and beyond. The film is all set to release after creating a wave since it’s screening at the Cannes.
After the many million hits of the grainy trailer, the viewers are ready to make their way to the theatres to watch the film. The story of the film is based on Titli, played by the debutante Shashank Arora who is the youngest member of a vicious car-jacking brotherhood that works in the capital city Delhi’s horrifying underbelly.

Titli's Family

Shashank in the role of the protagonist tries all hard to get out of his family business (actually it’s a criminal activity) and it’s quite exciting to see his battle with the situation. Moreover, he pairs up with another partner Neelu, played by a newcomer Shivani Raghuvanshi to make his dream come true.

Titli and Neelu, the newcomers
Add to that, Ranvir Shorey, Amit Sial and Lalit Behl in the roles of brothers and father of Titli make much noise and showcase the real indie family. Their individual performances show the superb talent of these veteran actors.
The storytelling is again very different with the tagline – ‘har family, family nahi hoti’ and creates much furor within the audience to get to know more about the ties and tantrums of this desi tale. So are you ready to ride this merry-go-round??
