Jazbaa is the film that is primarily seen as
the comeback of stunning Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in an all-new avatar. The striking
actress is playing an involving role of an unbeaten lawyer to validate her
comeback on the silver screen. Rai plays Anuradha Varma, lawyer and single
mother to her daughter Sanaaya.
The story of the film is based on a Korean
film ‘Seven Days’ and presents a promising plot to keep the audience hooked to
their seats for all the time.
The high-profile criminal lawyer Anuradha
Varma is forced to defend a rapist and brutal murderer after her own daughter’s
abduction. Here comes forward the secret admirer and mischievous cop Yohan to
help her in the fight to get her daughter back. Both the leading actors make an
interesting pair and live the rock solid performance in their own styles filled
with maturity and poise.
Sanjay Gupta is back again with his exalting
cops and criminals tale, as last seen in ‘Shootout At Wadala’. Jazbaa is also
lauded with cheesy dialogues by super talented Irrfan Khan saying: sharafat ki duniya ka kissa hi khatam…ab
jaisi duniya waise hum
The film also throws a provoking thought on
the lazy frame work of Indian Judicial system where any tainted criminal can
walk away guiltless if backed by a smart lawyer. Overall, the show rhymes
perfect in all walks and makes it a great watch!
