Its All About Kangna Ranaut, The Queen Of Bollywood

Kangana Ranut is the talk of the tinsel town once again as her upcoming film 'Katti Batti' with Imran Khan is scheduled for release. The Himachal girl, Kangna Ranaut has come a long way after her debut role in the year 2006 in Gangster. The star actress has definitely proved herself as a pro, playing a variety of roles with pure perfection. Let’s have a glance at the yester year’s films of the Queen of Bollywood:


Gangster (2006)
'Gangster' is a Bollywood romantic crime drama film, starring debutant Kangna Ranaut, Shiney Ahuja and Emraan Hashmi in lead roles. Kangna played the role of a bar girl with full confidence.  Her exposure of a plagued alcoholic who is stuck between the two men, the one she once loved and the other who can probably fulfill her all dreams was really at par and surpassed all expectations. The actress also won the Best Debut Filmfare Award for her wonderful performance.


Tanu Weds Manu (2011)
'Tanu Weds Manu' is a Bollywood romcom film directed by Anand L. Rai. The film stars Kangna Ranaut, R. Madhavan and Jimmy Shergill in lead roles. Kangna played the role of a drunkard, smoker, ill-mouthed and flirting girl of a middle class family and performed with much maturity and poise. Once again the bindass girl stole the show in her chirpy way.


Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015)
'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' is a Bollywood romcom film and a sequel to the 2011 film Tanu Weds Manu directed by Anand L Rai, starring Kangna Ranaut, R Madhavan and Jimmy Shergill. Kangna is seen in double role playing the additional avatar of Datto, a Haryanvi athlete studying in Delhi University.


Krrish 3 (2013)
Krrish 3 is a Bollywood sci-fi film directed by Rakesh Roshan, starring Hrithik Roshan, Vivek Oberoi, Priyanka Chopra and Kangna Ranaut in the lead roles. Kangna, the lead actress of the film is portraying the character called Kaya and is able to be a clone of any human inculcating his voice and actions.


Raaz: The Mystery Continues (2009)
This one is a thriller film and Kangna is getting better with her each passing performance.


Woh Lamhe… (2006)
Who Lamhe… is said to be based on the Bollywood actress of mid 70’s and 80’s, Parveen Babi’s life and her relationship with Mahesh Bhatt. Kangna played the character of an emotionally disturbed woman and showcased her talent with much ease.


Life In a…Metro (2007)
Although the film directed by Anurag Basu showcased an ensemble cast, Kangna made her mark with another matured performance. The film deals with the booming subjects of extramarital affairs, sacredness of marriage and love in urban cities.


Fashion (2008)
Fashion is a woman-centric film and explores the feminism and female power in Indian fashion industry. Kangna’s continued portrayal as a psychologically disturbed girl makes her the real show-stealer.

Once Upon A Time In Mumbai (2010)
Once Upon A Time In Mumbai is a period gangster film which showcases the rise of two gangsters. Kangna plays her part beautifully, although there is nothing much for the female counterparts in the film.

Queen (2014)
Queen is a comedy drama film, starring Kangna Ranaut in the lead role. The film presents a bold move by the protagonist, Kangna, who goes on board on her honeymoon to Paris and Amsterdam by herself. Kangna also won the Best Actress Filmfare Award for her role as Rani.

Revolver Rani (2014)

Ungli (2014)
Ungli is a Bollywood comedy film directed by Rensil D’Silva, starring Emraan Hashmi, Kangna Ranaut, Randeep Hooda, Neil Bhoopalam, Angad Bedi, and Sanjay Dutt. The story of the film showcases a gang of friends holding justice into their own hands for all the good means.

Rajjo (2013)
Rajjo is a romantic film, featuring Kangna Ranaut and Paras Arora in the lead roles. Kangna plays the role of a dancer and performed well but the film didn’t leave an impact.
