The festive season of Diwali is on the floor
and the Bollywood film industry is going to sparkle this Diwali with the
release of super star Salman Khan Starrer ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. The film is
directed by Sooraj Barjatya who is making his comeback after 9 years. The film
stars Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles coupled with Anupam Kher,
Swara Bhaskar, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Armaan Kohli. This is the fourth time
Salman is collaborating with Sooraj after their earlier super hit flicks ‘Maine
Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun!’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. PRDP is having a
whopping budget of Rs 150 crore and will see how much business the film makes
after its release.
Moreover, if we go through the last 10 years
films released on Diwali, Shah Rukh’s ‘Happy New Year’ released last year made
the highest business. Interestingly, out of ten films, five are from SRK only
and then there are also films from Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt and Akshay
